In 1986, Angelo Latini was President and Louis Souza was Vice President. Shop Committee members Jack Silva, Jerry Burke and Larry Camara completed the Negotiating Committee. Lena Hoffman was Recording Secretary and Thomas Hoffman was Secretary Treasurer. John R. Capobianco was our Business Agent.

The 80's years saw good numbers in the membership of our local as evident in the minutes for the month of August in which the membership was reported to be 846 dues paying members.

Local 587 enjoyed a 5.19% raise for this year per the contract, dated March 1, 1986.
