President Dave Estrella became a member
of Local #587 on February 25, 1980. Since that time
he has served as Shop Steward and on the Shop
Committee. He was elected President in October of
2000. |

Brother Gerry has been a member of Local
#587 since 1979 and has served as Shop Steward for
many years. He served on the Shop Committee from 2000
through 2005 and has been serving as Vice President since 2006. |

Recording Secretary Dave Kay became a member of
Local #587 on September 5, 1967. He served for 14 years
straight years as Shop Steward of the Test Department
before becoming Recording/Secretary in 1993. |

|
Brother Jerry has been very active in
labor through the years. He joined Local 587 in 1979 and
first joined the Shop Committee in 1985, and has spent
several years on the negotiating committee including two
years as Local 587 President. |

Brother Jay joined Local 587 in 1999
and has served the local as Shop Steward in the
Maintenance Department. He has been involved with the shop committee since 2006. |

Brother Tony is a returning veteran of
Local 587 politics. A member of our local since it was
organized in 1965, he has spent many years on the
negotiating committee as President, Vice President and Shop
Committee.
